Inclusive Leadership Starts Within π±
This toolkit was developed with and for employees from marginalized groups β especially LGBTQ+ Gen Z professionals navigating exclusion, bias, and invisibility in the workplace.
After sharing the core findings from the thesis on emotionally intelligent leadership in Dutch hospitality, Julian Raeder received one recurring question:
βWhere do I start?β
This is exactly why the Inclusive Leadership Toolkit offers an Inner Assessment β a short self-reflection tool to help leaders explore which inner capacities might need more attention to lead inclusively and authentically.
Instead of enforcing a one-size-fits-all training, this page invites leaders to reflect on five dimensions:
π§ Being β Are you aware of your emotional responses and values?
π§ Thinking β How do you challenge your biases and complexity?
π Relating β Do you listen with empathy and humility?
π€ Collaborating β Are you creating space for shared voice and trust?
π Acting β Are you turning good intentions into real change?
This isnβt a checklist β itβs an invitation to pause, reflect, and grow.
And yes, itβs just the beginning.
π© Try it out β and if it resonates, reach out to Julian. He is happy to share the full Inclusive Leadership Toolkit to support your journey in fostering real, lasting inclusion from the inside out.
